Season 2 is now available on YouTube!
Unperturbed is where Black women release ourselves from toxic strength - the kind that causes us to self-sacrifice, self-doubt, and take care of others better than we take care of ourselves. Here, we're shedding light on the secret guilt and shame we've been carrying, brought on by the trauma and painful experiences of our lives -- and we're ditching it all. We're redefining what it means to be "strong."

Dr. Rhonda Alexander
I’m Dr. Rhonda Alexander, and if there’s one thing I know, it’s that the “Strong Black Woman” trope needs to be dismantled. On Unperturbed. The Podcast, I'm out to expose the emotional and mental toll that "being strong" has taken on us. This isn’t just another self-help podcast for women; its a movement. It's our journey to reclaiming our power, our expertise, and our peace. We've sacrificed ourselves for everyone else long enough.
We're looking out for US, now.
I'm on a mission to help Black women rediscover their voices and build legacies on their own terms. I want them to know that their vulnerability is an asset, especially in the areas where they’re experts. By embracing their unapologetic authenticity, they can share their journey to success, monetize their expertise, and shake up their industry— without having to hide one ounce of who they truly are.
